District Governor
The District Governor is elected at each annual Convention for the ensuing Lions year. The District Governor is the Chief Executive Officer of the District and has an important role of being the conduit between Lions Clubs International, Lions Australia and the individual District Clubs and their members.

1st Vice District Governor
The 1st Vice District Governor is elected at each annual Convention for the ensuing Lions year. The 1st Vice District Governor supports the District Governor and is the chair of the District Development Group - supporting those Cabinet Officers involved in the development of Lions within the Districts.

2nd Vice District Governor
The 2nd Vice District Governor is elected at each annual Convention for the ensuing Lions year. The 2nd Vice District Governor also supports the District Governor and is the chair of the District Marketing Group - supporting those Cabinet Officers involved in marketing of Lions programs as well as Lions generally.

Immediate Past District Governor
The Immediate Past District Governor is the person who held the District Governor position in the previous Lions year. The Immediate Past District Governor is a member of the District Executive and acts as an advisor to the current District Governor. The Immediate Past District Governor is also the chair of the District Service Group - supporting those Cabinet Officers involved in the District's Youth & Health programs or the various Lions Foundations.

Cabinet Secretary
The Cabinet Secretary is a member of the District Executive and assists the District Governor and Cabinet by undertaking a number of administrative functions including attendance to correspondence, distribution of information to Cabinet Officers and District Clubs that has been received by the District as well as minutes, agenda etc.

Assistant Cabinet Secretary
The Assistant Cabinet Secretary is a member of the District Executive and assists the District Governor and Cabinet Secretary with the collating of Cabinet Officers quarterly reports, preparation and distribution of meeting agenda and preparation of minutes of meetings.

Cabinet Treasurer
The Cabinet Treasurer is a member of the District Executive and is responsible for the preparation of budgets, collection of membership dues and other income, disbursement of funds, maintenance of the District bank account and the preparation of the District's Financial Statements.

Constitution & By-laws, Insurance, Incorporation Charities & Registrations
The Constitution & By-laws, Insurance, Incorporation Charities & Registrations Chairperson (often referred to as CBL) assists the District Governor, Cabinet and individual Clubs with:
- in the interpretation of Constitutional and Policy matters;
- directing members to available information on various insurances arranged by Lions Australia on behalf of Clubs;
- advising and assisting Clubs on a range of matters related to incorporation & fundraising authorities;
- monitoring the District's compliance with any legislative requirements;
- provides guidance and assistance in the formulation of acceptable motions to be presented to the District Convention;
- checking of credentials and qualifications of nominees for elected positions; and
- advising on all matters concerning Rules of Debate and meeting procedures.

District Global Action Team
The primary role of the District Global Action Team is to support Clubs within the District to undertake meaningful service projects to support their communities and the humanitarian programs of Lions Clubs International.
Having strong service projects offers
- opportunities for members to engage as Lions;
- potential members the opportunity to see our work in our community and around the world; and
- improved visibility, encourages new members and assists with maintaining current members.
The Global Action Team consists of the District Governor plus the District’s Leadership (GLT), Membership (GMT) and Service (GST) positions.
Each position has an essential role in working both independently & collaboratively to support the work of Lions and Lions Clubs International Foundation and the District’s LCIF Cordinator.

District Global Membership Team Leader
The primary role of the District Global Membership Team Leader is to develop the District's membership growth programme. The District Global Membership Team Leader also promotes the Membership program with the assistance of the Region Chairpersons and provides assistance and support to Clubs who may experience membership and/or leadership difficulties.

District Global Leadership Team Leader
The primary role of the Global Leadership Team Leader is to develop a District Training faculty including initiating an annual training program for Cabinet Officers and Clubs (with the assistance of the Region Chairpersons). The District Global Leadership Team Leader reviews training manuals and presentation material to ensure consistency across the District as well as developing a District Progression Plan, identifying potential leaders in the District and assisting them in attending suitable training programs.

District Global Service Team Leader
The primary role of the District Global Service Team Leader is to assist the District and the Clubs to:
- align their service activities to the overall mission & vision of Lions
- create a sense of belonging and pride in Lions
- attract members and volunteers to undertake meaningful service in their communities; and
- raise the visibility of Lions service projects in their local communities.

DG Advisory Team
When requested by the District Governor, the DG Advisory Team meets to discuss and advise on matters the District Governor considers to be of particular importance to the District.

Region Chairpersons
The Region Chairpersons actively support Clubs within their Region (comprising two Zones) who may experience difficulties including with recruitment and/or retention of members. The Region Chairpersons may also act as a mentor for clubs assisting them as necessary.

Zone Chairpersons
The Zone Chairpersons maintain regular contact with Clubs within their zone and act as a conduit between the District Governor, Cabinet members and the individual Clubs. The Zone Chairpersons regularly visit each Club and conduct periodic Zone meetings with Club Presidents & Secretaries. The Zone Chairpersons also provide direct assistance to Clubs for various administrative matters such as the monthly MMR, activity reports and provide assistance and support to Clubs generally.

Lioness Liaison
The role of Lioness Liaison Chairperson is support and encourage the Lioness Clubs in the District and communicates with all Lions Clubs on the Lioness program.
